Citroen C5 2004 - Fan only working at full speed - teddybear2

Heater Fan suddenly decided to work at only full speed and not other speeds

Any suggestions if fan switch. If so how do you get at it ? Tried removed the radio and pulling 4 clips but the front panel would not pop out.

If it is the motor underneath the dash how bad is that to replace i imagine really bad ?

Unlikely to be the fan switch.Very probably a fault with the fan speed regulator.Situated in the side of the heater box,drivers side,by your left foot.Part #6441-L2.This is for cars with the digital read out climate panel.hth

Anyone got any pictures of what it looks likes. Been doing some googling and found lots of references to the fan module that could be faulty.

Just been underneath the dasboard and found a few modules not sure which one it could be.

Any ideas how much they are ?

Well with a little help from some google, i managed to track down the heater blower resistor.

Which is right next to the pollen filter with a large connector on it.

Managed to pull it out and can see that the connector is burnt.

Time to find a new one and not sure what price it will be !
