If you need to add oil, the top of the engine is fairly flat, and standing looking at it, the filler is towards the right hand end. It should have a little oil can picture on it, or say oil. Turn it left to undo. Don't over fill, if the level is to minimum on the dipstick, you need a litre adding, if between the marks, then add a 1/2 litre. If you have the Suzuki engine, rather than the Vauxhall, the filler may be at the other end, but will be similar.

Don't know about sounding like a typical woman, you are one up on a lot of blokes who use the low oil pressure warning light as a dipstick, we all had to start somewhere.

I know what you mean - but that warning switch is set at such a low pressure it's more of a "rebuild engine now" light !!
