BMW Z4 - Electrics - luckyearl

I have a low milage z4,has following problem

started with alarm going off radomly, which I had to reset frequently

then engine oil light came on, despite enough oil

now reverse parking sensors don't work, makes a long tone noise when engage into reverse, last for 1 min or so, but sensors don't work

Please suggest what's the best way to deal with it

Similar issue a few years back.

Disconnected battery, waited 10 mins, re-connected - all was well.

It was a Honda not a BMW Z4

Maybe someone with Z4 knowledge might be along soon..

You don't say how old the car is, but if it's getting on for 5 years or more a new battery may solve the problems.
