Renault have made an electric car in collaboration with Nissan. However, I keep mis-reading the name of it, which is unfortunate.

More like effluence....

It's not the bargain (compared with, say the Nissan Leaf) that it might seem, because you would have to lease the batteries at about £80 per month. You'd have to do a lot of mileage to make that worthwhile - and then you'd come up against the limited range.

If you cover no more than 100 miles per day and have easy access to a charging point at home or work, then an EV is ideal for you.
