RIP Marco - a900ss
b***** amazing rider. Would have certainly been a future world champion. Rode his bike to the limit and often beyond. Didn't care who he annoyed on his journey to get to the front.

Moto GP has lost one of its future stars and a character that the Stoners and Pedrosas of this world just don't understand.

I'm certainly not going to search You Tube looking for the crash; I want to remember you for the way you rode when you were alive rather that to watch you riding to your death.

RIP Marco. My thoughts are with your family and friends.

RIP Marco - craig-pd130

An awful accident and a terrible shame. Marco was a real star, his maiden premier-class win was coming and who knows what he could have gone on to achieve.

I can't imagine what Edwards and Rossi are feeling now, either; there was nothing either could have done to avoid the accident, even with their superhuman reflexes, but I doubt they'll think of it that way.

It was galling that the BBC 6 o'clock news didn't mention this at all. It covered the overpaid schoolboys' games in some detail, but not one word about Marco. Shameful.

RIP Marco - pda

Marco was a future world champion, a thrilling rider and MotoGP won't be the same without him.

He and Rossi were good friends and Colin Edwards is an all round good guy so they will of course, be going through all the 'what if's'.

RIP Marco.
