If for example I have a ford which shares a peugot engine or a jaguar which shares the same engine and the dealer uses the cheaper part, (I have evidence of this) is my warranty still valid? and if the dealer himself uses a "quote " blueprint korean aftermarket pattern filter is this an admission that the pattern parts ARE compatible, or should i advise my manufacturer that a main dealer is using these parts. I am aware that if I do i will literally be stirring ithe dooo-doo very deeply. For my case with one of my cars I am fed up with the dealer service but the car is fine, so still planning to keep it but the other a 2.7v6 jag is actually causing me more concern because it will shortly be out of warranty and the additional year cost is over a £1000 to extend the warranty 1 year.
