hi

need help to make decision what to do with my car.... got it less then 2 months ago. was bought from privet independent dealer that specialise in this type. paid 1790 pounds with over 94 000 miles on clock. it seems to be in good condytion.... except of smell and engine managment light that was coming up befor you started the car.

on first days od august without any reason had problems to move once started car. on revere and 1st gear was jumping as mud... as i was away from home instead of going garage i drove back home. on motorway at first couple minutes when had to stop and move there was masive jumps then after was going smouthly but after some time strange things start ocure... was changing gears itself- from 5th to 3rd- from 2nd to 5th. pull down and called aa. they tolled me to garage where mechanic diagnosed failer of gearbox. as next day was going on hollidays left this problem for later but now im on my way back and need to decide what to do. what do you think real problem is??? and is it worth it to fix it??? plz HELP
