insuring a foreign car to drive back home - slymon
I am a uk resident working in norway.
i recently bought a second hand van to drive home to the uk.
I will be returning home for good.
Is there a uk based insurance company that will give me cover that i need to get the vehicle back.
Once in the uk i will register the van for use in the uk

Aviva do still offer cover for oversears vehicles being brought back to the UK being insured on a chasis number if it's through a broker.

The easy way to find companies that offer this type of cover is to contact brokers who are based near UK military bases as they handle theses situations day in day out
