Peugeot 307 SW - Peugeot 307 SW -brake fluid leak - m00nie

hi, had a warning light come up on my 307 sw 1.6 diesel

checked and my brake fluid in the reserve tank had gone. topped it up and all seemed ok

couple days later the warning came back on again, topped up again and checked for leaks

when pumping the brake can hear air from under the passenger footwell

have looked under there and there is a pump(see picture) under there (google says a booster??) that seems to be leaking.

any idea if they are A) easy to change B) cheap to get c) that likely to be the problem ???

thanks

What do you mean it 'seems to be leaking'. Is it leaking fluid i.e. the master cylinder seals have failed. Regards Peter

the fluid in the resevoir has all gone twice in a few days also..

Air does vent from a small filter in the bellows, you can see the vent holes, but there should be no fluid there. If you had lost that much fluid the floor would be sodden. I suggest you stop using the car.
