Hi All,I am going to replace the front discs on a Matiz (2005). Will I need a hub extractor to gain access to the disc afer I pull off the hub nut. Cheers

Turns out to be a little bit tricky. I drifted out the off side hub with care and redrifted it back on with the new disc with no real issues. On the near side, half of the rear bearing stayed behind which meant I had to completely remove the steering knuckle. The only issue was removing the lower control arm ball stud bolt - that was a pain. Now off to my local garage to get replacement bearings. Interesting challenge.

hello eddie

can you explain how you drifted the hub off? was the hub in situ?

What tools did you use, and which part of the hub did you hit?

cheers
