i had a key snap in the ignition of my van and in the end we had to buy a new barrel and key from a vw dealer it fits in fine and it started the van for the last couple of times but then it stopped do you think that it could be the immobiliser on the van or does it sound like something else, can i also remove the immobiliser off my van , i am going to have another look at the van today and see if i can find anything else that maybe causing it not to start now.

i am not that technical minded so need things explaining simply thanks
