Peugeot 306 - Heater fan - lindumspark

Further to my previous thread regarding the fan not working on my 306

I have just checked the voltage at the fan (well i think thats what it is)

Red cable to ground is just shy of 12v

So can anyone tell me if this is ok and if so can i safely assume that the fan is up the creek ?

First check the voltage with the fan turned on, is it still 12v? Does it have climate control with an 'auto' setteng or is it just an ordinary speed control?

hi the voltage does not change at all when the speed control is changed.

It is the air con model with the auto setting i hope that helps
