This is for the mk4 Mondeo but it might be the same process.

Hi, anyone know how to reset the service/oil display on a 2010 Tcdi Kuga please,

I kept reseting mine (2010 Kuga).l Later found out it realy does need an oil change ! .Its because the deisel particulate filter isnt getting hot enough to burn off the unburnt deisel , so it floods into the sump diluting the engine oil. To stop it happening again , give your engine some pasty and forget about fuel economy. Apparently BMW are the worst ! . My Ford dealer cleaned it out and changed the oil for free. Its just another device ,like catalytic converters that shouldn,t be on cars. (Cats dont work in cold weather and use 10% more fuel).

I was assuming the OP had done a DIY oil change so needed to reset the system, if they are doing it to remove the warning I advise against it as oil dilution will have taken place.

The DPF may be getting hot enough, espeically if ther has been no DPF warning, but they also montior start ups and journeys and adjust service intervals accordingly.
