Hi All. I've now had both front tyre pressure monitoring (TPM) valves / units replaced as they'd fractured during the cold weather.
I note that the new parts are modified - they valve stem is a different metal to the original alloy ones. The engineer who fitted the last said there'd been a bulletin sent around advising not to use air pumps at supermarkets (long metal handle and metal barrel to place around / over valve) as these are rigid and can damage the valve stems if applied off-centre.
So what (decent) tyre pump can I buy which does not have a rigid barrel and will therefore limit the risk of damage to the metal valve stems?
Thanks in advance.
