Peugeot 307 - Turbo doesnt seem to be working - Ray 1989

hi, i have a 307, 2.0 hdi 110 bhp. recently there has been a sudden loss of power, i took it to a mechinac and he thought that the turbo was gone, i wanted to cheek if ne body else had the same problem! on the on board computer it is saying anti-pollution fault and it also says esp/asr not functioning?

The car will be in 'Limp home' mode due to the Antipollution fault, so fueling will be drastically reduced & feel like no turbo.

You need to take it to a different mechanic who can read the stored fault codes which should point him in the direction of the problem.

Fuel cap fault, eloys fliud, blocked cat, or exhaust pressure sensor fault.

As already suggested find a garage who knows what they are doing !
