Volkswagen Golf Mk V TDi - Electrical Problem - RichMcP

Hi, I would appreciate some advice:

My 06 plate VW Mk V Golf TDi has developed a bit of an electrical snag. I hadn't started it for a couple of weeks. When I did I discovered that the following things had failed:

Indicators (but NOT 4 ways, they still work)

All wipers

Horn

ESP

Main beam lights can be flashed but not held in the on position

Windscreen/rearscreen washers

Any Ideas?

I would start by disconnecting the battery for 10 mins and re-try to see if the central body controller re-boots.If this is not a fix,then you need to check the fuses in the engine bay fuse box and the one located at the end of the dash by drivers door.hth
