Hi All

The wife has been bending my ear about her rear wiper keeps stopping at various points on the screen in the intermittant cycle.

I have looked at the rear wiring as some of the other threads say it may be the constant live wire breaking down from the body to the tailgate. But even when I move the cables about it still does the same thing. You can also hear the relay under the dash clicking so that seems to be working.

Also it doesnt help when the Haynes manual I have for the focus tells me different cable colours to the ones in the car. All the ones that run to the wiper motor are black.

The other thing is that this appears to have started since a relay in the boot seemed to have got stuck and was buzzing, when the ignition was switched off, until I tapped it. But I cannot find anything about this relay, it is located in the boot on the near side behind the carpet running up the panel. Just a bit reluctant to pull it until I know what it does.
