The replacement engine has the same engine code (DHC) . It appears that the start relay will not energise because the ecu wont put the earth onthe coil, slaving an earth on then cranks the engine but it does not start. I have not checked spark or fuel yet but im not too familiar with ecu is there a programing conn or chip that i have to transfer to the new engine or should it work as engine codes are the same . I have no problem with conventional fault finding its just the ecu and imobiliser functions im not sure about cheers.
