Lexus GS300 - Lexus Main Dealer Servicing versus independent - babyboomer

I have a Lexus GS300, 57 plate, 19,000 miles on the clock with the warranty ending soon and I'd like to know if anyone has an opinion as to whether or not the Main Lexus Dealer servicing is worth paying for or are there independents who have all the right equipment who would be cheaper. I live in the Stockport, Greater Manchester area and if anyone knows of a good independent garage that can service a Lexus properly I'd like to know.

It's coming up to it's third birthday so warranty will soon be out, i'm in exactly the same position with my Hilux.

I will get Toyota to service and MOT it at the end of August for one good reason, they will look fairly on goodwill help for any failure in the next year.

If i get it serviced at joe bloggs and save meself 100 nicker i'll kick meself if a major item should go wrong after Christmas, hopefully remote chance but you just never know.
Another reason, Toyota's servicing dept do not rip me off, i'll decide again next year whether to carry on or get my indy to do the business but for this one i'll hedge the bets.
