Peugeot 306 2.0 HDI Estate - How long for this job - 3 hours??? - Rocketman

How long to do he following:

Front - replace both discs & pads and also one caliper - just seems a bit excessive 3 hours.

I had the rear discs and pads replaced recently and cost me 1/3rd of the price wanted for the above job.

Yea I,m a mechanic....2 hrs and thats with a 15 min road test to asses the new brake, by the way, ALL brake Parts should be fitted in pairs so one caliper isnt 100 % safe...2 discs...4 pads...2 calipers is the correct fitting...then road test.

i am also a full certified mechanic and i must disagree with the above coment yes pads and disc,s must be changed in pairs /sets but there is no need to change both calipers unless they are both at fault for example if one siezed then yes replace but if the other is working fine there is no need to change
