Hi all, me again with another exciting chapter in the life of my beloved workhorse 306.

In a nutshell, I bought a replacement rear axle and subframe from an on-line breakers service. It arrived, didn't have the fitments for ABS so I bought another from somewhere else. Now i tried to sell the 1st axle and the gentleman who arrived to collect it says it's for a phase 2 306 rather than a phase 1 (which is what i originally requested from the online breakers)

Not being a mechanic i don't know how to identify which phase of 306 this axle is for.

Are there any concrete signs to identify which phase it came from???
