Mini cooper S 2006 - Bleeding brakes - dazco

Ive just replaced all the Brake pads on Mini cooper S 2006 model.

I had to strip the rear calipers to free the adjuster for the handbrake.

ive re filled with fluid and bled the rear brakes but they still feel spongey.

Would i be as well bleeding the whole system( front as well as back) and is there any special procedure for this?

I always start with the bleed nipple furthest from Master cylinder ie rear left, then rear right . front left , front right.Ive had the engine running for the servo, and the missus pressing the pedal.

Just wondered if there was anything more to it on the mini? Thanks,

Daz

Mini cooper S 2006 - Bleeding brakes - piston power

Rear left, front right ,rear right front left.

It's a split system remember and use a presure bleeder gunsons make one that works from tyre pressure called a eazi bleed.

Once all fluid is out and air it still maybe a little spongy till the brakes are bed in some 600mls will do this.
