03 1.9 faulty lights - Stewart_2004

Hey all, hope you can help me out I have a problem with a picasson diesel. Its to do with the lights If I have the lights off and go over a bump they come on and the indicators stop working. I take it its a faulty earth or something but whats the best way to trace the problem. Any help would be great.

Probably a faulty control stalk which needs replacing, a fairly common problem on the Picasso
