I am c onsidering buying the 1.2 12v model, the car drives nice apart from a knocking ball joint and the anti roll bar bushes are shot.
Is there anything else I should watch?
The mileage is 90k and seems mechanically perfect( am I right in assuming this model has a camchain?).....
Any advice much appreciated.

Not bad little cars.
Lot of trouble with camchains when they first came out but will probably have had new modified chain and tensioner if its reached 90k!
Other minor odds and ends..
Heater flap motors nearly always give trouble.
Water leak from thermoswitch on rad - easy to fix.
Console bushes failed - pretty easy to fix.
ARB bushes.
Front strut top bearings worn/knocking.
Power steering problems (can be expensive).
Most engine and suspension parts are cheap and easy to source.
Apart from the steering everything else is pretty easy and cheap to sort - these are not a bad car if you can DIY, or use a good independent (such as us!!).
