Hi there
I too have the infamous 'Anti Pollution Fault' display, along with the engine management light. The car is a 2.0 HDi 136, with 80k on the clock and continues to runs like new. My mechanically-minded friend plugged his vehicle diagnostics thingy into the dash and got the following fault reading; 'Turbo Boost Ctrl Pos. Sen. Ckt R/Perf.' He is going to try and have a tinker with it in a few days, but I have a feeling a lot of guess work will be involved..
Thought I'd post this msg to see if anyone else out there had experienced anything similar, or knew what the precise problem could be, and (being very hopeful here) how to fix it?
Many thanks in advance

This indicates a fault with a sensor on the turbo. There is a slight possibility a vacuum leak could cause this, so check all pipework and connectors. Assuming its not a wiring fault then you will most likely need a new sensor fitted. Its quite a long job to replace and set it up correctly. You cannot do it yourself. Best to take it to a dealer. Expect to pay at least 3 hours labour plus cost of sensor, get a quote first, it might be more expensive than you expect.

Many thanks for your speedy response and advice. I will get the pipework & connectors checked this week. If no problems found there, will take to my local dealer in the New Year for a quote...fingers crossed!
Update to follow.

you state on your post car is running fine but with anti-pollution fault. the fault code
your friend brought up has to be a red herring. If there was any defect at all with
turbo either vacuum or solonoid valve your car would go into lime mode
you best bet would be get it code read at apeugeot dealers and post results

*UPDATE*
Peugeot read the fault code, said it was a turbo sensor that needed replacing, but 'the turbo must be replaced at the same time for the problem to be rectified..' They also found that the additive was almost empty & would need topping up asap. They quoted £2200 for the whole job.....
I had only owned the car for about a month and fortunately it was still under warranty from the second hand independent dealer that I bought it from. They did not want to pay out the £2200, and I was happy to have the car taken off my hands, with a full refund given.
I will not be buying another Peugeot HDI and will be doing my research BEFORE I buy my next car. Thank you for the responses.
