This price new, offered for a 1.2 16V 75 Dynamique model under the scrappage scheme, for my daughter's clapped out small Pug, sounds very good. List is £12,035 and What Car? gives an "unscrapped" target price of £10,357. Is there likely to be a catch? I can see the dealer might be keen to unload stock, with the new 2009 model due or maybe already here.

Will you be the first keeper or is it pre-registered? If pre-reg then for how long, because your warranty will be reduced by that amount. But £6777? What else can you get that compares? Have you looked at Toyota Aygo's/Citroen C1's? Smaller cars, but I suppose it depends what's needed. Even if it was pre -reg for a short while, not sure I'd be worried. Keep it for five years and sell for £1500. It'll have cost £88 a month. Sounds like a bargain, but what are you scrapping?

The OP will have to the original keeper because pre reg cars do not qualify for scrappage :)

If its being sold under the scrappage scheme then it must be new.

Which dealer? Sounds great!

Not sure but it is in Bath

Blimey PU that site's giving me hallucinations, can't navigate it at all.

Thanks PU thought that is a Clio Extreme 1.2 16V 75 - 3Dr, the OP said a Dynamique, and it is £1000 more.

Ah - there was no mention of that model on the garage's site - nor of deal de scrappage - still a hefty discount though.
