Had this car 2 years and still brilliant no faults or anything. But since all the heavy rain we have been having the inside of the car windows have been smothered in condensation and takes a good 2 mins to get rid of with the aircon and demisters. Had a look in the tyre well this morning and the felt pad at the bottom is soaking wet (no standing water) I know when you open the boot door that water runs off it quiet a bit but does not fall in the car and i cant for the life of me find out where the water ingress might be happening.
any body have any ideas on this

Hi Tony,
I also had a damp boot area in my focus 11 and finally traced it to the roof bar tray on the left hand rear side.
The water enters from around the bar fixing tray and runs down inside the boot, occasionally showing itself as a little damp patch on the carpet just in front of the little clipped parcel shelf.
The fix is expensive as the bar tray has to be unglued and a new fixing fitted by ford.

Hi Tony,
I managed to fix the leak by using clear Silicone Sealant all the way around the roof bar
fixing. I'm afraid you will have to wait for a realy dry period or bite the bullet and let Mr Ford
fix for about £150.
I'm ok so far, but I hope it lasts
Regards
Dave
