I bought two goodyear f1 tryes yesterday from a well known supplier, i however became a bit suspicious when i noticed they were made in thailand, as i remember there being issues in the past with grey imports from thailand, i contacted goodyears technical dept in birmingham who confirmed F1 tyres manufactured in thailand should not be used in the uk due to the compound being unsuitable for uk conditions, and that the only F1 tyres that should be on the market here are tyres manufactured in germany, i have contacted the supplier and hopefully the issue will be resolved, be warned

I had some that were made in Thailand and they seemed fine, but I also read reports on other forums saying they were not.

The supplier replaced with German made f1,s today so all is well.

I wonder where the tyres that are fitted to cars assembled in Japan and Korea are made?
