BRM V16 - as driven by J Stewart 1967 Oulton Park - ukjazz
Right then who can tell me the current wherabouts of the BRM V16 F1 racing car , having just come back from the 40th Gold Cup meeting at Oulton park I well recall Jackie Stewart demo laps and the restart at the bottom of Clay Hill in the summer of 1967.

What a car what a great sound from the engine!

So where is this car now - surely not locked up in a museum / private collection?

Anyone know any details /

The www reckons it was used by Nick Mason then resold to.....

Not sure which car it is but coincidentally on the Scottish News yesterday, new display at some museum in Edinburgh and it includes a car that physically has won more Grand Prix than any other and it was Jackie Stewart's. He was there yesterday at the opening etc.

Both versions are in the Donington Collection.

Saw the V16 being demonstrated at Donington, about 15 years ago?, after a restoration . IIRC Willie Green was driving it when it burst into flames. He parked on the grass and jumped out-fast.
