IMHO there is no good time to sell a car privately anymore! There may be a 'better' time to sell but even then Im not convinced.

I want to get rid of a 2 year old Golf (1.6). I guess if it's marked for the right price, it should go, but just wondered if there is a perceived time of the year that cars sell easier?

I always try to sell in the summer -- so the car will start 1st time on a test drive!
I suppose it depends on when the MOT date is.
