Citroen C4 (2004 - ) - 08 1.6 Bonnet Release Problem

08 1.6 Bonnet Release Problem - redviper
Hi

Went to refill the windscreen wash fluid on my girlfriends C4, only when i went to pull the bonnet release cable (in the direction as stated in the manual) it felt loose.
As i pulled it (in the correct direction) there was just this click noise and the bonnet didnt pop up.

Im unsure if i have broken it, or it was like that (all I did was pull it as stated in the book, and like i have done before)



The car is still under warrenty, but are we going to have any problems with the dealer. the handle is made out of the cheapest bit of flimsiest plastic i have ever seen, and its a akward way of pulling it (according to the manual you have to pull it to the right, instead of a lever that you pull towards you, like on my car)
