00 1.8TDDI - Engine Bay Cleaning - Nightcrawler1988
Hi Everyone,

I was wondering what the best product would be to use to clean the engine bay of my car, I have tried engine degreasant to clean most of the stains etc and this worked ok.
I was however after a product that would bring the bay back to a shine, especially the engine block, I have seen a product called "GUNK" and wondered if this was any good!?

Any advice would be greatly aprechiated.

better with Autoglym engine cleaner, give the bay a good skoot of the stuff, rub the really dirty bits with a brush, and hose off with a hose at low low pressure, don't be tempted to use a pressure washer. Then while the engine bay is still wet get Autoglym Vinyl and rubber care, spay over engine bay, (looks like milk) it will dry clear and make the black plastic bits nice and shiney.
