01 2.0 DTi Which engine Oil? - Simoncelli58

I am being told to use Semi-synthetic oil in my car because it has a Turbo (Halfords) - Is this necessary. I thought quality Mineral oil would be OK - Any thoughts on this please

The recommended oil for your car is 10w/40 semi synth which meets or exceeds ACEA A3 / B3 (A3 = petrol engines, B3 = diesel engines)

You won't go far wrong by using Vauxhall's "own brand" GM oil. Don't buy from them though, you'll get it cheaper from www.autovaux.co.uk and cheaper still from ebay.
