Discovered the following video of a crazy chap attaining some crazy speeds on the M1 and M6 motorways.

It is not just the speeds he is driving at, but the way he shows scant regard for other road users with his ducking and diving. What kind of punishment would await him if he were caught? I ask as I have travellend in a car (as a passenger) at close to these speeds and have often wondered what kind of repercussions there would be if the driver was caught.

This sort of thing needs real traffic police in real cars. ANPR won't sort it and if he does trigger a speed camera the car will probably be on false plates or a clone. Way better to have a camera catch 10 people doing 80 in a 70 than catch a really dngerous driver. Not digging at the police, they enforce policy and it isn't the right one IMO!

This kind of driving would be absolutely unacceptable on a German autobahn too, the difference is he would have been arrested on the grounds of 'dangerous driving', rather than 'exceeding the speed limit'. These two things are sadly confused in this country.

I watched 3/4 of it, pretty tame.
Rubbish music and camerawork.

If you drive at speeds greatly in excess of the limit then everyone else is a lane hog.
Try walking on a crowded pavement at 4 mph when everyone else is dawdling along at 2 mph. They are all selfish obstructive lane hogs and ought to be packed off to geriatric homes.

Based on his username it wouldn't be too hard for the police to find his contact deatails... Infact it would be pretty easy.
People have been prosecuted based on the videos they upload and this guy should be done for speeding and dangerous driving; banned and fined.
M6 isn't too far from me and there are a few junctions which see serious accidents nearly every week.
Idiot.

Agree 100%. Keep left unless overtaking. Unless you're on Mogadon, which most of the road users on the video seemed to be ;-)

I couldn't get this to work but I did see a video of two American rednecks riding go-karts at up to 100 mph on a busy freeway - possibly as crazy as you can get intentionally.

There used to be a video of a nutter in an Audi RS4 on a busy Czech motorway. Bit scary but the driver got away with it.
If those go karters in the US are the ones I saw a few weeks ago, I liked them too. Seem to remember one was better than the other though.

And there was that superb Indian fellow the other day reclining on his low-powered motorbike with his feet up and one hand behind his head, on the phone with the other, while driving along a busyish Indian dual carriageway.
