Anyone had experience of Dent Wizard. I read an article about them a few weeks ago in the Saturday Telegraph and was thinking of letting them have a go at the dent in my car.
|
|
I haven't come across Dent Wizard but the chap across the road was very pleased with someone called Dent Doctor, operating in the Cambs/Lincs area. He took out two dents and charged £50 (I think that was for both, not each, but can't be sure).

My drivers door was damaged by a "hit and run" Asda shopping trolley and judging by the damage it must have been fully laden.
I called "Dent wizard" and he came next day with an amazing box of tools, it was even more amazing watching 3 huge dents vanish before my eyes. He even took a few dents out of my wifes car F.O.C.. Cost inc. vat £100 and worth every penny.
He told me they get most of their work removing dings on brand new cars before they arrive at the showroom!.Go ahead and use them, you won't be dissapointed.

Malcolm,
Thanks for the reply. It's always good to get a recommendation, I shall definitely give them a call today.
Cheers
Andy.

Hi,
Does anyone happen to have a web address or phone number for Dent Wizard please? A google/yahoo search was unsuccessful for me!!
Thanks in advance,

The dentwizard guy came round to fix the dent in my car door, but it was too severe for him to tackle, so it's off to the bodyshop!
|
The outfit in the Telegraph article could only handly dents where the paint was undamaged. Perhaps that's the point where a dent becomes a ding (or worse).
My girlfriend has a ding in her Mazda, and we've been quoted a wide range of prices to fix it, possibly also dependent on whether it's regarded as an insurance job (it isn't), so I think it pays to shop around.

Andy,
dentwiz.com doesn't seem to exist. (dentwiz.co.uk isn't a website either.)

Apologies to all, for the typo!
