It never ceases to amaze me how many tales of woe you hear which could have been avoided if only people had read the vehicle documentation before buying a used car.

Things change though, and you'll find sales orders have terms saying "tough luck".

I've asked for the odd clause or two to be deleted from sales orders / contracts in the past, although I've not yet found it necessary when buying a car.

I suppose it depends on how much they want your business.
