I first came across this firm when a link was posted to their web-page on this forum a while back. I am now looking for 4 new tyres and I was wondering if anybody here has also used them? If so, did you save any money?

I used them once, more for the convenience rather anything else. Price seemed good but I didn't really check if I could have got them cheaper. I never actually saw them as the car was parked in company car park whilst I was somewhere else. I'd use them again.

Yes, me. Local tyre place quoted £135, (am on their database from previous custom) E tyres quoted around £74. The laugh was that the `local tyre place` came out to the house and fitted the tyres! Yep, they were the local `fitters`
Must have been some teeth grinding somewhere I thought....

My dad has used them before with no problems. They didn't have the tyres in stock that he ordered, but one quick phone call from them soon sorted things out. They offered him a different Dunlop tyre at the same price.
Unfortunately they couldn't match the offer I got from Camskill for tyres for my Vectra.

I have used them, and wouldnt hesistate to use them again. I made all arrangements on the net, the fitter updated me on the phone on the day I arranged and showed up at my house when he said he would in a tooled up van, fitted two tyres to my car in 15 min, charged me about £50 less all in than the kwik-fit brigade and took the worn ones away. I was that impressed I made him a coffee and gave him a kit-kat! I will be very surprised if you are dissapointed with what they offer.

There is a comparison of online prices here...

Not very scientific, but useful to have a list of other online suppliers...

They came & fitted a pair of Dunlop SP2000 on the Omega, a couple months back.
Arrived when they said, had best price & liked the way the fitter asks you to watch him torque tighten the wheel nuts, before signing the paperwork!
& managed to blow one, a month back, but couldn't take advantage of their free puncure repair service, as it was non-repairable.
They couldn't get the price anywhere near what I paid originally, for a new one, despite their price match polic. Aparently this needs to be a mobile company, rather than a fixed location, for them to do this.
So, to save £30, I went to A N Other source.
More hassle than it was worth! Took 4 days to deliver the tyre from Scotland to the nearest fitting centre, which was a 30mile round trip, only to discover that they hadn't even let the tyre 'pop', so it wasn't even safe on the rim. Fortunate it was in the back of the car, rather than the road, as Mr V took it, to get the job done.
So I had to make a return trip, to get it re-done. Fitting staion ap[ologised, but the supplier wasn't interested in the extra hassle & fuel costs created, 'cos he'd sold the tyre so cheaply!!
Makes me even more aware of the benefits of fitting & supplying being carried out by one & the same.
& even worse than that, they are located near IKEA, so it also resulted in a new chest of drawers Mrs V 'just had to have', when she called in there, at the same time. Well they were in the Bargain Basement section, so only another £40 spent!!

eTyres, I've used them twice to fit 2 lots of new tyres to the Focus II. No hassle, they came to the house, fitted and inflated tyres ok, took away old tyres, easier than going to a garage, cheaper and a lot more convenient. They phoned before they came and were on time, highly recommend them, they sell & fit batteries as well.

Yes. Excellent service. Would definitely use them again.

Yep me too, excellent service. I'd use them again no problem at all.

I used them on my old Firsta. Price was less than half that off Kwik Fit. An indie came out to do it did a good job but didn;t use a torque wrench on the wheels which they are supposed to do but I had no problems.
He was late but he said it was due to an accident on the M60, the BBC news reports comfirmed that it was grid lock that morning so I have no reason not to believe him. He also gave me a good couple of hours notice.
I have his number now so next time I will probably use him directly rather than going through an agent such as Etyres.

I have used them a couple of times, very very good service, fitter turned up on time, had 2 tyres fitted each time in under 20 minutes, wheels re torqued properly afterwards. Didn't use them last time round as found a local independent who is also very good and was a fair bit cheaper on the tyres I wanted!
But would/will happily use them again.

I've used them a few times now - no problem at all with the service. The fitter's always turned up on time, given me a call just before arrival, and does a good job every time. Prices elsewhere may be better sometimes, but for the convenience and reliability of the service I'm prepared to pay the extra.
