I see a fair few Mitsubishi Outlanders and the odd Citroen C-Crosser. But I don't think I've ever seen a 4007. There might be one in a Peugeot showroom, of course, but I've not been in one of those for ages.
This is an extreme example but it fits my thoughts on Peugeot at the moment: while Citroen seems to be riding a new wave of confidence and style (although whoever picked the name C-Crosser?), but Peugeot seems to have completely lost its way. There will always be the small cars, I suppose - for those with feet small enough to select a pedal rather than pressing all three - but the 308, 407 and 4007 are so gobsmackingly ugly they would have to be (a) utterly fantastic or (b) free to attract customers away from Ford or VW.
There's another thread here criticizing Renault's design direction, but I think Peugeot has a much worse problem - don't you?

Seen lots in France and Spain on French plates of both brands, bit late to the party in the UK.

Having been weaned onto Pugs in the mid-80s because of the 205 cult, I graduated to 306s in the late 90s. Both models looked and drove well. But I thought Peugeot lost the plot with the 206 - though plenty of others seemed to buy them. I have recently moved to a 207 estate, which I am adapting to, though it is too early for a reasoned judgment. I certainly agree that the -5 and -6 cars were more elegant. But not many marques except Citroen diverge very far from whatever shape is dictated by fashion and windtunnel testing.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I think my 407 coupe looks great (as do most who see it in the flesh). I've had no problems with mine either. Mrs MLC likes the 207, but it's not quite big enough for her future needs.

True MLC, but your 407 is a remakably handsome car by anyone's standards, when they make a coupe Pug can get it right, not so sure about the recent cabrio's though, 307/308cc look ungainly to me, and not a patch on your car, 207cc nice looker though.
Its probably the badge thats stopping the 4007/Crosser sales though i agree the Citroen looks far nicer.
They are after all virtually the same car as the Outlander with arguably a better engine, which is a powerful unit, pity they never offered the rumoured auto, but the VED debacle probably finished that idea for good.
WDB you may like to compare the fronts of the facelifted C1 with the facelifted 107, not sure which is worse, hope its not a new trend.

Yes. Plug ugly.
That's serious criticism from somebody who likes the frog-eyed Scorpio.

my neighbour has a 4007 and i drove it last weekend.
inside it seemed pretty well put together with nice soft plastics and well trimmed seats and carpets.
i was told it was the top of the range 2.0 diesel though.
it was just as quiet as my c4 Picasso and c-max. looks good in black with cream leather seats.

My mate has one. Again its the top of the range diesel, its very nice. However I think that its the ugliest of the Outlander platform cars.
I have a lease with Peugeot & they have called me three times in effort to get me to change before it expires. During the last call I told them that bar the 407 coupe (good looking car with decent kit imho) there isn't a car in their range that I find appealing.
It saddens me to say it as I've consistently had Peugeots for the past 12+ years & I've owned some crackers. I now have a family so my circumstances have altered. But Peugeots have become so dull, uninspiring, stodgy (& plain ugly in some cases) I will driving a different brand shortly.
