The complexity of replacing headlights on many renaults has been discussed here before.

I had a headlight replaced on my megane last december at a cost of £50. The bulb on the other side has just gone, so I rang the dealer to check the price, only to be told headlights are now covered by warranty, so it's booked in to get it done for nowt - no chance of getting the other £50 back though.

No reason to mess about trying to change them yourself any more - or for driving round with one light out !

In my case its the bulb, but I wouldn't consider the unit to be a 'non-warranty' item anyway.

esitmated time to replace bulb - 1/2 -> 3/4 hour !!!!
