2000 1.0 immobiliser - loltel
please help me solve this problem

i have a corsa 1.0 w reg, when starting up i drive for about half a mile and it just dies, then the engine will turn but wont restart, i have to leave it about 15 minutes then try again and usually starts, then drive off again then it dies again. the engine light flashes as its going to die, it has a little z in the centre.

the same happens with the spare key.
the rac man has said that his machine does not recognise either key i use.

i have replaced with a new car battery today but still the same happens. a local man said its the immobiliser ? but i thought it wouldnt start at all if it was that ?

any ideas please

The immobilizer can't stop it once it's started. What fault-codes were found?

If none, I'd wonder about the crank sensor?

the rac man said there were no faults found and couldnt find anything mechanically wrong ?
