What should I do?

Everyday when I go home from work I have to endure one of the worst designed junctions in this country. I am referring to the cross roads of the M5, M4 and A38 in North Bristol.

To those who are not familiar with this appalling piece of modern highway design please look at it from the air via google maps to see what I mean.

All the vehicles that leaves the A38 to get on the M5 North needs to go across two lanes of the M4 East slip road, and the same if one is going off the M5 to the A38 south and have to cross the two lanes M4 slip road into the M5 South.

I've counted an accident every day of this week during rush hour and I saw untold misery to the people involved and the people who try to get on their way home/work.
The only other place I know of in the world where motorway exits goes across the entrance to the same motorway is South Africa and the infamous Concrete Highway of Jb'rg (the ring road).
I wrote to my MP in the past but nothing was done about it, is there another way I can get this road to be made safer? I see so many traffic control devices such as cameras etc' in places where there is hardly any problem but in such a bad spot there is no warnings what's so ever.

The J4b/J15 exit from M4/M25 southbound and entry to T5 from M25 at J14 is another.

Been to America on their interstate's? They have traffic coming on before the exit. Madness.

Their on/off ramps are so so short too! You have to be pretty quick with your acceleration/deceleration and joining in with the flow.
I find this junction tinyurl.com/6gby8t
in San Jose, CA, pretty hairy to tackle: Heading East, come off I280 to join Moorpark Avenue, and immediately leave at next right on to Leigh Avenue.

Might explain why the American's tend to drive such big cars with big engines. Stupid road design. But when my brother had his Jeep with a 5.2 litre V8 we'd be driving around for most of the week and it didn't seem quick to me (probably about 250bph or thereabouts) but he onced floored it to overtake - boy did it accelerate quickly.

This type of junction is quite common here in Germany, generally with a 60 kmh limit though. I remember the Bristol junction well and always found it somewhat of a nightmare to negotiate, especially when dark.

It's probably only an issue in the UK, as many drivers here are either discourteous or too timid.

Without wishing to state the obvious, make allowances for the situation and just do your best to avoid being involved in an accident yourself.
