2004 2.0D Faulty Windscreen Washer - thewildrover
A fuse that controls the windscreen washers keeps failing. When it fails the windscreen wipers come on for long periods of time, although not permanently. When they are on I have no control over them i.e. intermittent wipe or fast wipe don't work. When they do turn themselves off then I regain normal control.

With the fuse to the windscreen washers replace everything returns to normal for the short period before it fails again.

My local garage don't seem to be able to suggest what would cause this problem and I am hoping some backroomers will be able to point us in the right direction.
