I have an i10 comfort on order....silly me?
I haven't yet seen any on the roads so
far. Are any coming into the UK now?
A few seem to have one but not me yet :-(
Mine was promised end of August but it's not even in the showroom so far.

I've seen a few i10s but don't particularly look out for the spec. Popular car by all accounts, theres no point speculating about delivery time, I'd just wait to see if it arrives at the end of August.
|
I've seen two locally. Not sure they were Comforts though. We ordered in April and last time we were told August/September. Our changed order to the 1.2 engine is looking like September/October.
|
We've been told by our dealer, who in turn has been promised by Hyundai, that all UK back orders for the i10 will be fulfilled when weekly ship docks on 7th September, and after that there will be about 200 i10's in stock for dealers to order aginst. So fingers crossed we should have ours before September is out.

I have seen two, one in Edinburgh, the other in Carlisle, not exactly common. I didnt notice which model they were.

Sounds a neat car from the below review. I doubt that I could fit in one let alone carry my 9 foot surfboard on the roof.

I collected my Silver i10 Comfort on 31st May, there were 2 other Comfort models being collected the same day in Oyster Grey. To date I have seen only 1 other Comfort model, in Silver, although I have seen several Classic models in various colours. If it's any consolation I am very pleased with my purchase and feel it's very good value for money. How many cars in this price range come with 4 electric windows, air-con and 4 wheel disc brakes. The car is returning 37 - 53 mpg, depending on journey, although I have only reached 1300 miles to date.
|
I have seen only one locally, in the blue colour. My OH ordered in July and should get it next week - a 1.1 Comfort in black. He felt the extra cost to get the next trim up was quite small.
|
An article on Autotrader says the i10 is 4th best for retained value, behind the Mini, 500 and the Aygo/C1/107 trio.
|
It's a comfort(!) to see, at last, my i10 Comfort in the showroom at last.
Take delivery next week.
They had 4 in ordered for and could sell dozens so the salesman told me.
I daresay the resale values will drop when the 1.2 litre version hits the roads in the UK though.
Albert........soon to drive an Indian takeaway! :-)

We have spent the week-end in Suffolk/Norfolk where we saw two (red and blue). It's not til you see one in a full car-park next to other cars that you realise how small they are. OH collects his on Tuesday and I will give a mini review in this thread later in the week. I did suggest that he cancel and get the 1.2, but he decided not to for some reason.

Already 90000 have been built in India

Already 90000 have been built in India
Only 90,000 (worldwide)?
If they were planning to sell 10,000 in the UK this year that figure seems very low. Does the car not sell in its exported form to India itself?
That said, 900,000 would be stupidly high for such a new car....
|
Sorry, I meant 90000 been sold in India. The i10 has transformed Hyundai's fortunes since the othe products baring the Amica have been lacklustre in sales performance

Took delivery of Comfort yesterday. First impressions are it's a great little car.
BUT boot too small and I cannot hear the engine at tick over! ;-)
When I started driving a wing mirror was 2/6d (half a crown. 12.5p)
I just wonder how much a replacement electric wing mirror would be for the i10 Comfort? :-)

Got my Mica Black one 12 days ago, Lovely little car, plus the wife loves it as well. The boot is a bit small, but look how much room there is in the back for passengers! More than the 206 which it has replaced for sure.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a city car. Surprisingly nippy as well.
