2003 3.0D Resetting Service Schedule - tezza6
My 330D has just been serviced by a local garage but they are unable to reset the service schedule indicator.Also the trip mileage reverts to zero every time the ignition is switched on and the clock does the same.Can anybody shed any light on this please.

It's the normal dash-button reset type. If the garage haven't got the procedure in their service data, then they didn't have any other service data either - makes me wonder just how much of the "service" was guessed-at?

Thanks Screwloose.I was there and read the manual with him and we tried several times to reset it on the dash buttons but it would not have it.

Holding down L/H dash button just gives Test

So if you hold the button in and turn the key from off to position 1, what happens?

Looks like you need to get a scanner plugged in.
