Prototype Lambretta in USA? - Petel

Has anyone heard of a proposal to start a new production of the Cassic Lambretta Scooter in the USA please?

Understand that this is called the L5 and is on its second prototype at this time. It is suggested that this model will have a 250cc four stroke engine.

Any available information/confirmation would be much appreciated.

If its got a four stroke engine its not a classic lambrettta.

Anyway, US production costs would be too high - the whole thing sounds dodgy.
