V-sign motorcyclist not banned - Manatee
The inconsistency with which punishments are applied defies belief. Do 35 in a 30 4 times in 3 years and you are quite likely to be disqualified for 6 months. Do up to three times the speed limit 65 times whilst giving a V-sign, repent and keep your licence!

Charge was perverting the course of justice rather than the speeding offences themselves. Would a ban be available to the judge in sentencing in that case?

He does seem a very lucky boy though!!

I can see that multi names on the ownership might be "perverting the Course of Justice" but it is hard to see how the speeding offences could be overlooked. Nottinghamshire Plod-U-Like got so fed up with bikers giving 'V' signs to speed cameras that they formed a special squad with a car and two motorbikes to apprehend those showing such devastating lack of respect. A marvellous use of allegedly limited financial resources!
