1997 1.7d Replacing front pads. - Peter
I need to replace the front pads on this car, can anyone be so kind as advise on how to dismantle the calliper to extract the two pads. Am I correct in thinking that the outer spring clip is removed and two (possibly Allen key (size?)) bolts removed or slackened.

remove spring, undo the 7mm bolts replace pads,when you push the piston back its usuall to open the bleed nipple so as not to push the fluid back through the system, refitting is just a reverse of dismantling, remember to pump the pedal back up after every thing is refitted and before you drive it to bed them in
