Anyone else managed to get any vouchers from this 'club' since it changed from the old system.
My points balance has gone from nothing to 2500, back to next to nothing, up to 3000 and now down to 69 in the past six months!, and I have never received a single voucher.
Have emailed them a number of times and never had a reply, actually telephoned them once only to get foreign call centre type who told me the system was rubbish and it will be sorted soon, this was 3 months ago!
Is it me?

Oh well Esso it will have to be from now on then. How can such a large company with what was a very good points card up until the change suddenly become a total pile of pants?
Mind you with the profits they are making I dont suppose they give a chuff about a few customers loosing out on the odd voucher.

Just before Christmas they sent me two £25 fuel vouchers. Just after Christmas they sent me two more £25 fuel vouchers.
I wonder whether they gave me your points!
|
Sounds like that could be the problem, have had a quick scan through the net and it would appear there have been loads of problems with the new 'club'.
|
Yes I have had problems. I did get £10 of vouchers, and am due for another £10 soon, but the points from around 1/4 of the transactions have never appeared on www.shellsmart.com/smart/index.html?site=en-en
Also, their credit card which gives another 3-5p off a litre stopped working in their stations PIN machines for about a month and so customers had to use another card, but when this happens the fact they already swiped the Club card is forgotten by the machine, so no cashback and no points. It's a great scheme, let down by the way it's administered. I suspect it is run by a third party like Nectar, as you can now gain these Shell points at Dabs, Next, Apple, ebay and all sorts of other places.

I used my bonus points vouchers last year, never got them added. Also, recently they have been offering double points when you fill up. Again, used my card but got standard points, all they tell me is they will be added at the end of the quarter.
|
We had £40 of vouchers, a couple of months back, together with some Double Points coupons. These were each given to the cashier & they apparently weren't told how to deal with them!
Got the £40 eventually, but no idea about the double points, as the account is all over the place, just like other Broomers mention.
& we run it in conjunction with Shell credit card which gives 3% discont which is shown as rebate on statement.
E mails to shell result in standard replies, that our Q's will be answerd ....soon!!

I've had one £3.50 voucher couple of months ago.

I had the same thing, no points added, for about a year when optimax card changed to V-Power, then I used my old card, because I couldn't find the new one and the points were then added, so I use the old one now.

Chaos sums it up - old system was not perfect but every so often you got a statement and you could get vouchers for a variety of shops. Drivers Club Points paid a stop to that.
Another Shell faux pas
Shell V-Power Diesel - a well hidden secret is where to buy it.
In October there was a "National Launch" of V-power Diesel according to the Car Mags. Only trouble was few stations had and if you enquired on the Shell site they had a 56Kb pdf file that had stations listed in county order - as long as the counties were in the Southern half of Britain.
I e-mailed and asked when their site would have information that could be retrieved. I heard little and saw no improvement in their site.
For a company that made £14Bn profit they must do something right but it certainly is not having a website with information or a "Reward Scheme" that pays out.
I buy the ordinary Shell diesel - I have bought V-power diesel on 2 occasions after stumbling into a filling station that had a V-power Diesel Pump.
Log on to sthe Shell site and look for yourself.
