03 HDI110 SE - Tailgate release failiure - Hondabiker
The tailgate release mechanism has stopped working and the tailgate cannot be opened at all! After several intermitant failures the tailgate release has stopped working all together. The micro switch clicks when pressed but nothing else happens!

Q1. Is there any way of opening the tailgate from the inside. From inside the boot I can see a small in the catch itself that appears to give access to the inside, how does this work?

Q2. Does anyone know of a likely fault? The Haynes manual says nothing about the lock itself and directs your to local Peogeot dealers for Central Locking Faults - really helpful!

Hi,

Got same problem on 307 sw 2006. It works some time, other times not.
If doesnt work in the morning, when I come out of work it then opens ok..weird!
Did you ever get to the bottom of this one?
