Replacing Front discs and pads - shoei
The last time I replaced the pads on a car was a 1986 Mazda 626. Any tips for replacing on the above car would be welcomed. Do I need special tools etc any links to web sites. Thanks

No, but there were three manufacturers used for the brakes, so you need to get the right stuff by looking who made them. The dealer won't be able to tell you from the VIN number, so don't waste your time there.

If your car has Teves brakes, you will need a 7 mm AF hex key to unscrew the slider pins.

If you just remove the the whole unit with the two bolts you do not have to disturb the Hex bolts,remember plenty of anti squeal paste when fitting the new ones.
